Advance Restore and Replace
The Junction Telecoms Advance Restore and Replace service is a unique maintenance option available to all customers using the mediaVOX PBX appliances.
All that is required on the customer premises is a broadband Internet connection that allows the mediaVOX appliance to connect to our backup server over a secure VPN connection.
Once connected to our VPN, the mediaVOX will automatically
backup to our secure server facility in Camberwell on a nightly
basis. Due our use of advanced Data Deduplication technology,
backup data is kept to absolute minimum to preserve bandwidth.
In the event of a mediaVOX hardware failure at customer site, the
customers mediaVOX configuration is restored to replacement
hardware and shipped to the customer for his own replacement
which simply involves connecting the cabling from the faulty unit to
the same positions of the replacement unit and powering on. Once
powered up, his phone system is back to exactly how it was before
the failure.
